Guybrush Threepwood's quest to become a fearsome pirate became one of the best-loved adventure games of all time, and rightly so. Secret... is packed from opening to end credits with great characters, sparkling dialogue and genuine laugh-out-loud moments. This is where Lucasarts really hit their stride. While being tightly constructed it allows the player a lot of freedom in completing the various tasks required, which prevents frustration at getting stuck on one section. The highlight is the sword fighting, in which the combatants trade insults and comebacks to determine the outcome.
One of the very few adventure games I can play over and over again, just for the fun of it.
