The Bitmap Brothers updated their early 16-bit future sport game with style to spare, bringing in a larger playing area and a deeper team management system alongside their distinctive metallic visuals.Taking the down-on-its-luck team Brutal Deluxe up through the leagues was a blast, and there was plenty of tinkering to be done along the way, using your spoils to upgrade your squad with implants and replacement limbs. Things quickly became tough as you went from a division you'd dominated to the bottom rung of the next.
The usual high level of presentation is matched by fluid gameplay and a solid structure. A tremendously fun and satisfying game.
